IQFeed - Setup & Symbol formats

SETUP INSTRUCTIONS
|
Starting with QuoteTracker version 3.0.3C, a separate IQFeed install download is needed to get full functionality from IQFeed with the best results. The proccess is very easy. Please follow the instructions below:

Close QuoteTracker |
|
Download the IQFeed Install - IQFeed_Client.exe (381KB) |
|
Run the downloaded file, accepting default options during the install process |
Once done, QuoteTracker should function with all IQFeed functionality, without any errors

SYMBOL FORMATS
|
|
For stocks, just enter the symbol without any special prefix or suffix.
For options, enter the symbol in ABC DY format. For example, QAV JV
For futures, enter the symbol in @SYMBOL format. For example, @ESH3 and @NQH3
For Canadian stocks, enter the symbol in C.SYMBOL format. For example, C.NT
